With Locago anyone can create a new layer to show geographic data.
You can, for example, show where your favorite restaurants or your jogging trails are located. You can also let the user access the geographical information dynamically, such as the wikipedia layer.
A layer consists of at least two files. The IGEO file where geographic data is stored and the IDOC file to describe the layer page.
In a simplified description, the IGEO file corresponds to the overlay of the map and the IDOC file presents the layer page.
The steps to create a layer are as follows:
Please follow the static layer tutorial to understand the steps.

You need to be signed in with your Locago account. If you do not have an account, just create one (you need a valid e-mail address), it is free!
Please look in the FAQ or ask in the Forum. For hints on what kind of layer to develop, see the wish list.
Currently the geographic data of a layer is limited to 10000 points. If you would like to have a layer with more data, please contact us at sales locagoYou must have JavaScript enabled to view this address. .
